Administrative Construction Coordinator- Kenora, Ontario

Moncrief Construction Limited is located in beautiful Kenora, ON and has been in business for over 50 years. With operations spanning all over Northwestern Ontario, Northern Manitoba and beyond, we are a rapidly growing company. MCL specializes in heavy civil construction, power and communications line construction, and aggregate production.


The construction coordinator must have experience with "WEB-BASED CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SERVICES" (WBCMS).


Position is located in Kenora, Ontario.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • WBCMS reporting for MTO projects

  • QA/QC

  • Maintain and manage plans, specifications, cost, and material estimates, subcontract and related reports

  • Complete MTO contracts (general conditions, quantity sheets, drawings, reporting requirements, etc.)

  • Establish, monitor and initiate updates to, construction work schedules

  • Quantity reporting to Client

  • Maintain project diary

Skills Required:

  • Experience with WBCMS is a requirement

  • Construction experience

  • Working knowledge of Ontario Provincial Standards & Specifications (OPSS) and Ontario Provincial Standards & Design (OPSD)

  • Familiarization with progress payments

  • Familiarization with MTO contracts (general conditions, quantity sheets, drawings, reporting requirements, etc.)

  • Engineering degree considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

  • Ontario: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Project management: 1 year (preferred)

  • Web-based contract management services: 1 year (preferred)
